Editor's review
This is a batch processor that can add, remove and replaces pages in PDF documents. Quick edits of documents by adding, removing and replacement of pages in an existing document.
This could be useful when you may not have the Adobe products that can handle changes in PDF documents. Many business documents are circulated into PDF format and one may need a quick way of creating a new document using the contents of other PDF documents. The operations are obviously not as flexible as if had a full-fledged editor. You make the changes by adding a page here, removing a page there and possibly adding a few pages where required. The pages that are retained cannot be edited though. If your requirement is limited to these operations only, this could be a useful tool. The tool does not need the Adobe Acrobat to be present, nor does it require any other plug-ins.
The tool preserves the integrity of the contents including the links, bookmarks and annotations in the original documents. You can add metadata like the author, subject and keywords etc easily. The straightforward interface lets you choose the options you need easily, does not require much getting familiar with it. You create a batch of files that you need processed and then simply click to start. It is able to handle PDF files with password protection too. Overall, it looks like a tool that lets you cut and paste a new document from existing documents. Your marketing department can possibly create a new proposal quickly from the proposals available. The temptation equally would be to create some document from documents obtained from other sources and claim that as your own. One should then be aware of the copyright issues. The application niche is quite narrow but it does the job quite well.
Two stars for such a great idea.
